Bilingual Social Services Coordinator (Spanish Speaker)

Status: Part-time (20 to 40 hrs per week)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.

Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) is a private nonprofit located in Atlanta,
Georgia. Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency and equity for immigrants, refugees, and the
underprivileged through comprehensive health and social services, capacity building, and
advocacy. Founded on the belief that “people need people,” CPACS is the first, largest and oldest
organization in the Southeast to focus on issues and concerns of Asian Americans, especially women,
children and families with low incomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between CPACS and the Asian and Pacific Islander, Latino, and/or Limited
    English Proficient (LEP) Communities
  •  Promote CPACS services within the CPACS and the Asian and Pacific Islander, Latino, and/or
    LEP Communities
  • Attend trainings, community events, and meetings on behalf of CPACS
  • Assist LEP clients with direct services (e.g. translation, interpretation, application assistance,
    access to service, etc.)
  • Assist LEP clients by making referrals to other CPACS programs and activities
  • Developing individual case plans with particular attention to culture, language, and special
  • Maintaining case files;
  • Providing appropriate services that will contribute to the self-sufficiency and the well-being of the target communities


  • Bachelor Degree preferred (BA or BSW);
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in case management, preferably working with, serving, and advocating on behalf of immigrant and refugee individuals;
  • Prior experience with social service provision;
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  •  Ability to prioritize duties in fast-paced environment;
  •  Must have a valid driver’s license,
  • Fluency or proficiency in in Spanish Language required; proficiency in additional languages a
  • Candidate must have a dedication to the well-being of refugees, immigrants, and underserved communities.
