Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) is a private nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency and equity for immigrants, refugees, and the underprivileged through comprehensive health and social services, capacity building, and advocacy. Founded on the belief that “people need people,” CPACS is the first, largest and oldest organization in the Southeast to focus on issues and concerns of Asian Americans, especially women, children and families with low incomes.

Position Summary:

  • Conducts COVID-19 vaccine outreach and education for hard-to-reach and high-risk communities
  • Practices cultural humility and adopts a trauma-informed approach to increase confidence in COVID-19 vaccines
  • Collects and reports data on the number and demographic characteristics (gender/ethnicities/race/language) of individuals who receive assistance
  • Collects and reports data on the number and demographic characteristics (gender/ethnicities/race/language) of individuals who receive vaccine outreach and education information
  • Provides information, referrals, and advocacy for needs that pertain to COVID-19
  • Assists patients in accessing health-related services and community resources, such as appointments and assistance with enrollment forms
  • Builds and maintains relationships with the community
  • Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Must be able to speak in another language (examples: Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Burmese, Nepali, Bangla, Hindi)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or interest in COVID-related public health work
  • Possess some knowledge about community prevention and education
  • Demonstrate ability and experience interacting professionally with diverse individuals and
    communities.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong motivation and adaptability, including ability to work under pressure and with little supervision
  • Must be flexible and willing to work – weekends and non-traditional hours may be required
