Bilingual Social Services Coordinator (Vietnamese Speaker)

Department: Social Services
Status: Part-time or Full-time (20 to 40 hrs per week)
Compensation: $15-18/hour; commensurate with experience.

Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) is a private nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency and equity for immigrants, refugees, and the underprivileged through comprehensive health and social services, capacity building, and advocacy. Founded on the belief that “people need people,” CPACS is the first, largest and oldest organization in the Southeast to focus on issues and concerns of Asian Americans, especially women, children and families with low incomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between CPACS and the Asian and Pacific Islander, Latino, and/or Limited English Proficient (LEP) and underserved communities
  • Provide outreach and access to benefits information for households among the Asian and Pacific Islander, Latino, and/or LEP communities
  • Attend trainings, community events, workgroups, and community partner meetings on behalf of CPACS to advocate for food security and benefit access policy
  • Assist clients with direct services (e.g. translation, interpretation, program information and enrollment, case follow-up, and referrals to other services)
  • Developing individual case plans with particular attention to culture, language, and special
    circumstances and needs; maintaining client case file and data collection;
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with community partners, state and federal agencies, and community-based organizations that will contribute to the self-sufficiency and the well-being of the target communities.


  • Bachelor Degree preferred (BA or BSW);
  • Some experience in case management, preferably working with, serving, and advocating on behalf of immigrant, refugee, and/or underserved individuals;
  • Prior experience with social service provision;
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize duties in fast-paced environment;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Fluency or proficiency in Vietnamese required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus;
  • Candidate must have a dedication to the well-being of refugees, immigrants, and underserved
